Fine Art in Detail

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Mr. White graduated from a HBCU as an engineering major with a minor in industrial arts, however, early promise as an artist was shown in high school when a local architectural firm hired White for his 3D drawings of botanical schemes to enhance their landscape elevations. White’s artistic skills were sufficiently resourceful while attending college to finance much of his education by drawing caricatures, painting murals in churches, fraternal lodges, and recreational facilities

As an Engineer, Mr. White co-sponsored 9 patented inventions with 3 different companies. Mr. White is also revered as a pioneer and developer of big screen televisions. In electronics, Mr. White developed microchips used in surveillance devices used by the U.S. military as well as commercial telecoms. A technological change to electro-mechanical designs allowed Mr. White to transition into robotics thereby rendering opportunities to develop instrumentation and control systems used in industrial applications.

As a Technical Illustrator, Mr. White technical illustrations were viewed by various corporate executives and their engineering teams, usually for strategic analysis of futuristic design concepts. Corporate executives also published Mr. White’s illustrations as a Point of Sales headliner in certain brochures to solicit very exclusive clientele. Coupled with corporate publications Mr. White’s technical illustrations have been published by many prestigious magazines with broad-based circulation and used by many educators from secondary school tutoring to collegiate level instructors.

As an Artist, Mr. White derived his unique artistic skills from his acute observation of intricate detail used in the disciplines previously mentioned. Much precision is required to achieve the artistic skill set that Mr. White possess. All the work skills that were acquired by Mr. White involved a broad variety of techniques to achieve successful results often learned by trial and era…. Initially, most of Mr. White’s artwork was created with oil paints and brushes; however, optimum detail was unobtainable using only this medium…. It was determined that the most desirable detail can only be achieved with the use of mixed media; various paints, inks, brushes, pens, pencil, pastels, etc. at many times in unison on the same substrate.
