Buck Hill’s Falls – This peaceful scene is located in the Pocono Mountains of PA which Buck Hill Falls is known for its naturally prim environment including its namesake waterfall. The artist stumbled upon this site after getting lost. This is a location thats only accessible to the few who are willing to endure the pain of prickling thistles and thorn bushes; along with very rocky uneven terrain.

This site became a hidden treasure to the artist because the concealment of its natural beauty was only found by him; one that really desired to paint it, regardless the inconvenience of being in that very location. It was undisturbed totally by any human contact; to really appreciate the essence in respect to no human contact one must fully know how the area serves the community.

There is still an active community of both summer and year-round residents, many of whom come for a summer retreat from areas of New York City or Philadelphia. Many families have been coming to Buck Hill for generations. The community still has the amenities of its past as a very popular Quaker resort, including a nice 27-hole Donald Ross-designed golf course, 10 tennis courts, 2 lawn bowling greens, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. The nearby villages of Mountainhome and Canadensis provide places to shop. The artist revisited the location some years later and discovered that the waterfalls were tranquil as ever, however, the water currents had displaced most of the rocks and the large rhododendron tree trunk had fallen to the ground and started to decay. The artist then realized that this painting had captured the "beauty in detail" of an undisturbed panorama in infamy, since the aesthetics of the original elements will no longer exist exactly like this ever again.
