Quiet Storm – Many people consider a storm to be a violent force of nature especially around islands as seen here because they're often more vulnerable to storms due to their geographical location in oceanic regions; however, the artist prefer to reflect upon the calm following the storm creating a brief period of tranquility with the freshness of a new start after the whistling winds and heavy rains abate; it brings a sense of peace to our habitats.

The meticulous blend of ochres, umbers, and cadmium colors are primary bases often used with crimson to greatly accentuate early morning sunrises as well as late evening sunsets over bodies of water. This color blend also allows wonderous "beauty in detail" as the color intensity tends to change especially over the water with room brilliance (room light) which is directly proportionate to the variation of ambient illumination in the room.
