Serenity Awakens – Was developed as a safe place to go especially with all the turmoil that plaques the world in which we live today. The artist hope that each viewer will allow this spot to be a safe place where they're able to step onto the pier and enjoy this vibrant lakeside view with the sweet morning greetings of the birds and hear their songs and perhaps take the boat and escape deeper into this peaceful environment.

This is an amusing painting to view because along with this somber location the artist indiscrimately placed facial expressions inconspicuously throughout the artwork that are transformative. Pastel colors blend into rich ochres, cadmium & cobalt colors, coupled with dark umbers and light crimson which then give the painting different looks as the intensity of the hues change in direct proportion to the variation of the illumination in the room.
